Active Electrical offers a full range of electrical testing and inspection services, complying with British Standard BS7671: 2008 17th Edition (IEE Wiring Regulations and Guidance Notes). All employers have a legal obligation under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 to ensure that electrical installations and equipment in places of work are safe. A periodic inspection and test of the electrical installations within the workplace is the only method of ensuring your electrical distribution system is safe. Domestic property owners should also have periodic inspection and tests undertaken every 10 years or so to ensure any electrical installations comply with current regulations and are safe for continued use. This especially applies where a property is being used for holiday lets, rental or bed and breakfast accommodation.
